  • Sci-fi book recommendation: Tau Zero

Just finished Poul Anderson’s Tau Zero. The book has a bit of a slow start but really gripped me after a couple of chapters. It’s a story about humans, their hope, desperation, isolation and relationships. It was refreshing to read a science fiction that captures that, does not divert into war or action, and has a great scientific angle — travelling very close to the speed of light. Loved that it has a mathematical formula in it as well.

(Didn’t enjoy the audiobook narration too much, ended up reading it on Kindle.)
